In cooperation with the top C1 riders, we have created a new sprayskirt for canoes with hybrid or kayak cockpits. 

WHY DO WE NEED A NEW SPRAYSKIRT? 

With the development of new single canoe models and the trend of paddle alternating, many of the latest designs are becoming more kayak-like. These boats are narrower and, therefore, less stable, causing canoeists to kneel lower than ever before. This evolution has also led to changes in canoe cockpits. Manufacturers are now installing kayak cockpits on many models or developing new cockpits that are a hybrid between the traditional round C1 cockpit and the classic oval K1 cockpit.

 E1 - EVOLUTION SPRAYSKIRT 

Primarily designed for single canoeists with a hybrid or kayak cockpit, this sprayskirt can also be used on a kayak. It works as an alternative for paddlers who do both K1 and C1, offering a versatile option for those who prefer a single piece of gear.

MAIN FEATURES: 

The more oval shape, closely resembling K1 cockpits but shorter in length. 

The tunnel has been moved to the rear edge of the deck. As a result, the sprayskirt does not restrict the rider from leaning forward as might have been the case with a kayak sprayskirt.

The Jackpot PFD pocket is strategically positioned to keep the pillow secure when leaning backward and prevent it from interfering with the rider's body when leaning forward.

The sprayskirt tunnel has been shortened for topdecks. In recent years, canoeists have been lowering their center of gravity by kneeling much lower than before.

WHAT CANOE MODELS ARE COMPATIBLE?

The E1 was primarily designed for the Vajda - Demon 4, but it fits perfectly on all C1 models with a hybrid or kayak cockpit. Refer to the graphics below to see which sprayskirts are best suited for each type of boat. Green indicates the ideal fit, while yellow represents a suitable alternative.
